Upload the PDF to your web server and copy its direct URL (it should end in .pdf).

Can a QR code store an entire PDF file?
No. QR codes store a limited amount of data — enough for a link, not a full document. This tool encodes a link to your PDF, so the PDF must be hosted somewhere publicly reachable first.
How do I get a public link to my PDF?
Upload it to Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or your own website, then copy the "share" or public link. Make sure the sharing setting allows "anyone with the link" to view it.
Will the QR code stop working if I move the file?
Yes — the QR code points to a URL. If that link changes or the file is deleted or made private, the QR code will no longer open the PDF.
Can I upload a PDF directly to this tool?
Not by default. This tool generates a QR code from a link you provide, so nothing is uploaded to our servers. Optional hosted-upload support can be enabled separately when real storage is configured.
